The magazine “AQUAFOCUS” is registered with RNI and published by Dr. JESU AROCKIA RAJ on behalf of FOUNDATION for AQUACULTURE INNOVATIONS and TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER ( FAITT ).

It is being published as an English Quarterly Magazine, commencing from January 2023, from Chennai, Tamilnadu, India.

The magazine uniquely focuses on “Aquaculture Research and Development” – both nation-wide and globally. It is published both Online and in Print versions.

ABOUT MAGAZINE PUBLISHER

FOUNDATION for AQUACULTURE INNOVATIONS and TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER ( FAITT ) is a nascent and highly unique Non-profit Private Research and Development (R&D) Foundation in the field of Aquaculture.

The FAITT is ISO certified in Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS). It is also certified and recognized by Startup India, NIPA – Government of India, DIPP, Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, and the United Nations (UN) under the “2022 – International Year of Artisanal Fisheries and Aquaculture.”

FAITT was founded by Dr. JESU AROCKIA RAJ ANTONY SILUVAI..

Dr. JESU as Publisher and “Editor-in-Chief” of AQUAFOCUS magazine, is a well-recognized and highly acclaimed Eminent Scientist with Stanford University World Ranking in Top 2%.

Dr. Jesu Worked at reputed national and international universities and has expertise in fish biochemistry, with particular emphasis on fatty acid metabolism and its regulation in marine fishes. His research integrates advanced molecular approaches, including cloning, sequencing, molecular characterization, and gene expression analysis. In recognition of his outstanding contributions, he has received several prestigious national and international awards, notably the Distinguished Bright Spark Fellowship (Malaysia), along with honors conferred by the Government of Tamil Nadu and the Government of India.

AIM and SCOPE of MAGAZINE

AQUAFOCUS primarily focuses on and aims to promote the following key aspects:

1. Publish national and international news and informative articles to disseminate and assist in augmentation of existing knowledge resources for aquaculture community in India and abroad
2. Publish Unique innovations and technology based solutions in various aquaculture sectors.
3. Provide information on national and international scientific & technical collaboration based professional education and practical training programs, workshops, expositions, seminars, etc for aquaculture farmers, interns, technicians, rural youth, etc
4. Form a unique Scientific and innovative processes based aquaculture community hub – to foster both innovation and knowledge exchange, for national and global aquaculture industry.
5. Disseminate information on Scientific seminars, pr events, workshops, etc, to help boost innovative technologies and best practices in aquaculture industry.
6. Endeavour to share and inform about scientific solutions for Sustainable processes in Aquaculture to achieve various UN SDGs (United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030).

MAGAZINE MEMBERSHIP

Two types of Membership are open:

1. All individuals associated with Aquaculture trade and industry including students, scholars and faculty can subscribe to AQUAFOCUS Magazine.
2. Any individual engaged with aquaculture or fisheries business, entrepreneur, marketing professional, technical professional, stakeholders, student, scholar and faculty can also become a member of the Foundation.
   • The members of the Magazine or Foundation can avail 25% concession on all the training programs conducted by FAITT.
   • The members can also avail 25% concession in all the seminars/ conferences/ workshops organised FAITT.
